Wheaton Aston,
Shropshire Union Canal

Albrighton Anglers members have access to a 1.2 mile section of the Shropshire Union canal at Wheaton Aston, the stretch extends between bridges 20 and 21.

Although popular with boat users, they do not interfere with the quality of the fishing, Chub to 4lbs and Perch to 3lbs have been reported, Carp, Pike, Bream, Roach, Rudd, and Gudgeon are also present in the venue.

The canal section is the only club water that is made available to other clubs to hire for match fishing and Canal only club memberships are available via this website.

All club members are allowed to night fish the canal section, with junior members only able to do so when accompanied by a full or senior member.
