Strict rules about the usage of our club waters
Albrighton Anglers follows a set of strict rules with regards to the use of padlocked gates. It is imperative that both of these gates are secured at all times. The fish species include: Tench, Roach, Rudd, Bream, Hybrids, Crucian Carp, Perch, Barbel, Chub, Gudgeon to name a few. Parking is generally adjacent to the pegs on the near side of the pool.
The pool is approximately two acres in size, constructed as an irrigation pool, this reed lined pool is extremely deep, with a maximum depth of 36ft. When the pool was acquired it was completely enclosed with reeds, the estate provided a digger and 19 pegs have now been created, plans are in hand to install fishing platforms and steps to provide easy access to each peg.
The club has had little opportunity, with virus lockdowns, to establish the fish species and stocking levels in the lake, but we intend to bring it up to the standard of the club’s other waters. Since renting the venue the club has stocked a large number of Carp, Bream and roach, as the pool is offline, the committee have decided to add F1 Carp, with 2000, 6 to 8 inch to be stocked in August/September 2021.
No Night Fishing allowed on this pool.
